Some Park Slope residents aren't giving up the fight to stop a hospital expansion plan in the neighborhood.
Members of the nonprofit community group Preserve Park Slope rallied outside New York Methodist Hospital over its controversial plan to build a new facility on Eighth Avenue.
Officials say the building would include cancer and urgent care centers, but residents argue that it would destroy more than a dozen hospital-owned brownstones that are historic to the area.
The plan was approved by Community Board 6 back in January, but its opinion is only advisory and the city will have the final say.
