The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in New York City for a 3-day visit in America.

Britain's Prince William and his wife, Kate, have a full schedule of events in the city, including a visit to the National Sept. 11 Memorial. They also plan to attend a Brooklyn Nets game.

Prince William is also scheduled to head down to Washington, D.C. to meet with President Barack Obama on Monday. Meanwhile, the Duchess will remain in the Big Apple to meet with the city's first lady Chirlane McCray.

This is the first visit to the states for both the Duke and Duchess.
