Police say a man escaped custody in Coney Island Thursday.
Investigators tell News 12 they were questioning 36-year-old Isiah McGill about a robbery when he bolted out of the precinct, escaping through a second-floor window.
Police released images of McGill but would not share details about the robbery he was being questioned about.
His escape set off a large search effort. Police have been scouring the area trying to find him after his escape at around 4 p.m.
Police say he was wearing red sweatpants, a red sweatshirt with white stripes with white lettering on the back reading "GOAT" and the number 23 in black.
