A proposed legislation by local leaders is looking to help street vendors obtain a license without the years-long delays.

News 12's Elly Morillo spoke with Councilwoman Pierina Sanchez about the details of the legislation.

A recent crackdown outside the Kingsbridge Armory has left dozens of vendors without resources.

The city's Department of Sanitation says eight summonses have already been issued to unlicensed vendors in front of the armory.
