A new fitness area for adults will be built at Prospect Park Parade Grounds.

The $750,000 renovation will also include a misting line along the soccer field, shade trees, new seating and reconstruction of the volleyball court. 

Officials with the Prospect Park Alliance and City Council member Mathieu Eugene say they're working on making a difference for the community and the whole borough.

Construction is expected to be completed within the next year.
