A multimillion-dollar upgrade is coming to Prospect Park.
The Prospect Park Alliance says the $3.5 million raised by borough president Eric Adams and the City Council will go toward renovating the Oriental Pavilion and Flatbush Avenue perimeter on the park's east side.
The Alliance says that the restoration is much-needed and hope the park will be restored to its original, pristine condition.
In addition to the Oriental Pavilion, the width of the pedestrian walkway from Grand Army Plaza to the Prospect Park Zoo will nearly double.
