Some fifth-grade students from P.S. 503 toured the re-emerging Industry City section of Brooklyn in celebration of National Manufacturing Day.
The students got a behind-the-scenes look at how chocolate, guitars, swimsuits, and other items are produced in the borough.
Organizers say they hope the tour shines a light on the manufacturing sector and possible career opportunities.
A spokesperson for the manufacturing complex says it houses nearly 3,000 employees and it's in the midst of an expansion.
