A public hearing is set for tonight to address cleaning up the polluted Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) began studying technologies that can be used to safely clean up the canal after it was added to the agency's national priorities list two years ago. Over recent years, the waterway has become one of the most contaminated in the country.
The meeting will be held at P.S. 58 at 330 Smith St. at 7 p.m.
