Public transportation is getting back to normal in the aftermath of Saturday’s nor'easter.
The Metro-North, the Long Island Rail Road and the NYC Ferry are all back on their normal Sunday schedules after they suspended services on Saturday.
The Metro-North service was suspended on the Wassaic, Danbury, Waterbury and other stations but kept running hourly on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines. All LIRR trains were canceled as well.
Riders told News 12 they were relieved to have their commute back to normal ahead of the workweek.
The MTA announced that its crews will be working extended hours to keep the subway and bus systems up and running as they continue to clean up the aftermath of the storm.
