A well-known restaurant in Williamsburg is closing
its doors after 15 tears.
Owners of Rabbithole, customers and employees gathered
on Sunday to celebrate the restaurants last hours and honor the impact the
restaurant had on the neighborhood.
Seats were filled with frequent customers enjoying their
last meals there.
“This place is like a home away from home. I’ve been coming
here since I’ve moved to New York. I told my friends about it and we just
enjoyed the atmosphere,” said one customers.
Owners of the Rabbithole say they are closing their door to
shift their focus on their new business venture, a restaurant called The
Monarch on Metropolitan Avenue.
“I think a lot of people came in today to thank us for being here for what we've offered and what we've created and what we're bringing forward into our new place,” said owner Lawrence Elliot.
