A man is facing charges after Ramapo police say he burglarized his ex-wife's home and then fled through nearby backyards.

Police responded to Campbell Avenue on Sunday for a reported burglary.

Investigators say the suspect fled the area before officers arrived.

Ramapo police launched a search that included drones and K-9 units.

The suspect was later identified as Jose Victor Jimenez-Rivera and taken into custody.

Police say Jimenez-Rivera is accused of stealing from his ex-wife.

He is facing multiple charges and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
