The family of Ramarley Graham is calling the manslaughter charges against the NYPD officer who killed him a slap in the face.
The 18-year-old's mother, Constance Malcolm, says she isn't satisfied after officer Richard Haste, 30, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to first- and second-degree manslaughter charges for shooting her unarmed son in February.
Malcolm says she's also upset that other members of the NYPD cheered as Haste walked out after the arraignment. Malcolm says, "It hurts to see the person who killed your son glorified as a hero."
For loved ones, they say the hardest part of all is having to relive the night Graham was killed. To watch an extended interview with Ramarley Graham's mother, click on iO Extra on Channel 612.
