Lorraine Grillo, who Mayor Bill de Blasio appointed as New York City’s “recovery czar" spoke to News 12 about the city's pandemic recovery efforts.
Grillo described the opportunity as the "thrill of a lifetime" and said she is eager to see New York City come back to life.
She has spent the last couple of weeks meeting people in the city's administration who are working to bring the city back while putting an emphasis on equity.
Lorraine adds that the city's small business group is doing "extraordinary work" to support small businesses and restaurants and looking at different ways to make improvements for them.
