The Beam at Rockefeller Center is offering New Yorkers the best view of the city while recreating a famous historic photograph.
The Beam is the latest attraction ascending more than 800 feet in the air. Visitors will strap in on the 69th floor and be lifted 12 feet above the observation deck. Once you reach the top, riders will rotate 180 degrees above New York City to enjoy the bird's eye view of the Hudson River, Central Park and sun-kissed skyscrapers.
Don't forget to smile to recreate the iconic 1932 photograph Lunch atop a Skyscraper showing 11 ironworkers casually eating lunch in the air on a steel beam in NYC.
The beam is a permanent exhibit at top of the Rock. It's a 90-second experience where you can take in the entire city seven days a week.
The experience is open to Top of The Rock observation deck visitors. You just need to add the Beam to your ticket which includes your newly iconic photo.
