Instead of visiting the Guggenheim Museum to see a work of art, a stroll down one Red Hook block will provide just that.
David Gonzalez has been using the fence of his Dikeman Street home as a canvas for nearly six years. He says he hopes to inspire his community with each display, and knew bright colors would bring some light back to the block, especially after Superstorm Sandy hit.
The latest art installation adorned on the fence has been called "Saturation Block."
Neighbors say Gonzelez's work has definitely brought positive energy to the block and they always look forward to what he'll do next.
Gonzalez says he'll have to stop the artwork during the winter months, once heavy snow starts to fall.
