Although summer is coming to an end, residents in the borough are still looking to stay cool as the temperature rises.
Many Red Hook locals were out and about Wednesday in T-shirts and shorts in the hot and humid weather.
Other residents were in their bathing suits, keeping the sweat off by staying in the pool. Some locals stayed in the shade to avoid the hot sun.
Residents say the day was perfect for swimming and enjoying outdoor activities. They also hope the summer will last a little longer.
Residents are urged to drink lots of water to stay cool as the weather is expected to stay warm for the next few days.
