Red panda cubs are part of the newest addition at the Prospect Park Zoo and this past weekend, visitors got to see the cubs up close for the first time.
The panda cubs were born at the zoo about four months ago but needed time with their mother and to get used to their surroundings before they were put on display.
On most days, the cubs play in the grass with their mother. One is a female, and the other is a male.
The red panda population is declining and they are considered vulnerable in the wild, which is why many people say it's a treat to see them at the zoo.
