Business is booming in Fordham, and some credit improved transportation for the increased sales.
According to a new report from the Department of Transportation (DOT), there has been a 71-percent increase in sales since express buses came to the area in 2008.
Business owners along Fordham Road say that regardless of the reason, they're grateful for the extra customers.
