Police say that swastikas were found spray-painted on a bench at Adam Yauch Park on Friday, along with the words "Go Trump."
A group of elected officials, clergy leaders and residents who have lived in Brooklyn Heights for years rallied Sunday to denounce the incident.
Organizers say they will not sit quietly in the face of hate.
Park officials repainted the bench on Friday.
Police say the incident is being investigated as a bias incident by the Hate Crimes Task Force.
