Protesters in East Flatbush sought signatures for a petition Tuesday calling for the closure of a nail salon after a fight there between customers and employees.
Police arrested two women -- a customer and a worker -- on assault and other charges in connection with the scrap at the New Red Apple Nails on Nostrand Avenue near Martense Street Friday.
Cellphone video of the incident circulated widely over the weekend before more video emerged showing another angle.
Huiyue Zheng faces charges of assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, according to court documents. Christina Thomas, who Zheng allegedly struck with a broomstick, also faces assault charges.
The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office says prosecutors are examining more video evidence and may alter the charges.
A second video, recorded on the salon's security cameras, appears to show a larger group of people fighting.
Witnesses say the fight stemmed from a dispute over payment and the quality of the nail salon's services.
Thomas says she was unhappy with how her eyebrows turned out and refused to pay.
Salon employees say Thomas and her grandmother both refused to pay for a number of services they got that day, including manicures and pedicures.
The protesters marched from the salon to another associated business to demand they both close for good.
