The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers (NYSTD) is offering a $1,000 reward for any information on two separate attacks on livery cab drivers that happened in one week.
Last Wednesday, Osvaldo Deleon was driving a cab when he was robbed, stabbed and left for dead by two men. Officials say they now believe the two suspects also assaulted another cab driver with a hammer just a few days before.
Deleon's family says they have joined forces with NYSTD to stop the violence against livery cab drivers.
