Riverdale Restaurant Week kicked off to food lovers delight on Sunday.
Dine Out Riverdale, which is comprised of two local organizations, 4 Bronx Project and Flexis Media organized the event which is done twice a year. This event marks the fourth year.
On Sunday, a News 12 crew went into a participating restaurant, Arnauds, at 5686 Riverdale Ave.
Arnauds is a family-owned business, that was started from the ground up by owners Eddie Arnaud and Elizabeth Arnaud Espinal.
Arnauds is featuring a prefixed menu for the event that is only $50 per person. Customers can get an appetizer, entrée and a desert.
"This is a dream that came and we made it a reality all together," said Eddie Arnaud, as this is the restaurant'sfirst time participating in Riverdale Restaurant Week.
About 24 different restaurants in Riverdale are participating in this year's event.
Customers have until May 11 to stop in at the participating locations and order off of their prefixed Restaurant Week menus.
