Rockland Bakery to pay nearly $1M to resolve 2017 hiring discrimination allegations

Rockland Bakery will pay close to $1 million to resolve hiring discrimination allegations from 2017.
A Labor Department compliance review found Rockland Bakery discriminated against female, Black and Asian applicants.
The bakery has to pay $850,000. 
It has also agreed to extend 52 jobs to female, Black and Asian applicants and revise its recruitment process to be free of discrimination.
