More New Yorkers will be eligible starting Tuesday to get vaccinated against the coronavirus and the state is adding new vaccination hubs at houses of worship. 

The state is also launching its “Roll Up Your Sleeve” campaign to earn the trust of religious communities to get them vaccinated at places of worship. 

"Asking the faith-based community to partner with the health care operator, perform the vaccines in your facility, and we will provide the vaccines to any facility that participates,” said Gov. Andrew Cuomo. 

Although it is still difficult to make appointments at state-run vaccine facilities, the city’s vaccine site says there are plenty of available appointments now that pharmacies can administer the vaccine. 

That’s only if you have an underlying health condition or if you’re a teacher, school staff or child care worker.
