Thousands of runners hit the pavement for the New York City Marathon Sunday morning.
Runners started out in Staten Island and then traveled about 11 miles through Brooklyn before tackling Queens, the Bronx and Manhattan.
The race ended on the West Side of Central Park.
News 12's Jessica Cunnington was among the runners.
