The search for a missing Marine Park man with autism is expanding north and outside of the city. 

The family of Brian Gewirtz, who disappeared back on Feb. 17, thinks that he may be somewhere in the Hudson Valley. 

Volunteers are handing out fliers all over the town of Monroe in Orange County after police found images on the 20-year-old's computer of various places in that area. 

As News 12 has reported, loved ones have been scouring Brooklyn and other parts of the city for weeks. They say the search is especially urgent because Gewirtz has an auditory processing disorder, which means he sometimes has a neurological delay in comprehending information. He also has diabetes and is without his medication. 

Family members say Gewirtz loves the outdoors and had visited Harriman State Park with his brother. They think it's possible he made his way there or to somewhere nearby.
