A Bronx store, referred to as the "Home Depot for Spirituality," says it has been the most difficult time keeping its shelves stocked in the more than 45 years it’s been in business.
Second-generation owner Jason Mizrahi says that the store sells thousands of items, including candles, incense, herbs, oils, statues and books.
These days, he says everything seems to be tough to get - even sage.
Mizrahi says it's a prime example of the snowballing supply chain snag that he's been experiencing since March 2020 - when the pandemic hit.
The shop says its basement never used to look overcrowded - but now, when it orders, it tries to get as much as it can hold to keep shelves stocked.
Mizrahi says some products from China have taken four months to arrive at the shop and shipping costs are five times the regular amount. While he's had to raise prices on a few items, he says overall, the shop has adapted well.
The shop is open Monday through Saturday and products are also available online.
