Second snowfall in as many weeks hits Brooklyn

The second snowstorm in less than two weeks hit Brooklyn Monday. In an effort to keep roads clear, the city?s Department of Transportation sent out 77 salt spreaders and more than 200 snow plows. Drivers

The second snowstorm in less than two weeks hit Brooklyn Monday. In an effort to keep roads clear, the city?s Department of Transportation sent out 77 salt spreaders and more than 200 snow plows. Drivers who had to head out were urged to leave themselves extra time and use caution. Police also asked those who did not have to drive to leave their cars home. Alternate side of the street parking has been suspended for the day.
