The second snowstorm in less than two weeks hit the Bronx Monday.

In an effort to keep roads clear, workers from the city?s Department of Transportation were out all morning sanding and salting. Drivers who had to head out were urged to leave themselves extra time and use caution. Police also asked those who did not have to drive to leave their cars home.

Alternate side of the street parking has been suspended for the day.
