A person of interest is in custody after a man was shot in the face and left fighting for his life in East Flatbush, police say.
Emergency responders were called to 261 Lenox Road just before 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Police say paramedics rushed the man to the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
Citizen app footage from the scene shows police cruisers and ambulances rushing to the scene.
The man's age was not immediately made available.
The violence erupted across the street from Rep. Yvette D. Clarke's office. News 12 reached out to her office for comment and is awaiting a response.
