There is a shortage of games for high school teams that remain in the Catholic League bottom league, forcing them to schedule games with upper league teams.
Monsignor Scanlan High School took on Archbishop Stepinac Tuesday. Stepinac is led by one of the top players in the city, Tony Taylor, who averaged 21 points per game last year. Stepinac was up 11-4 in the beginning of the game, but Scanlan didn?t give up.
The boys were able to make a few impressive scores, but despite their efforts, Stepinac finished out the game with a 77-51 win.
