On Earth Day, many people try to pick up trash and save electricity, but one Bronx resident says her home helps her live environmentally friendly all year round. Annette Benedict installed 20 solar panels on the roof her house 3 ½ years ago. Benedict says when the sun hits the panels, the energy is converted into her home and feeds into the meter. She says depending on the weather she can decide to take the energy in or send it back out. Benedict says her decision to ?go green? with the solar power proved money saving and environmentally friendly.
