Prospect-Lefferts Gardens drivers want the record wiped clean after they say the city unfairly ticketed them during the recent winter storm.
Residents say more than 40 cars on Fairview Place were ticketed when they thought alternate-side-of-the-street parking was suspended. Motorists also complain city snow trucks plowed their vehicles in, leaving them stuck.
The mayor counters the city must get back to normal as soon as possible, including issuing parking tickets. The next time alternate-side-of-the-street parking will be suspended is February 19, which is Presidents Day.
