A Soundview church rallied amid frigid temperatures today to fight back against a New York City Department of Education ban on religious worship in New York City schools and public spaces.
The Infinity NY Church, which has been holding Sunday services at the city-owned Bronx River Houses for more than six years, has a February eviction date pending.
Senior pastor Dimas Salaberrios says he's been on a hunger strike since Jan. 1 and doesn't plan to eat until the city allows his church to continue worshiping at the site.
