He's known as "Seltzer Man" and for more than 46 years Eli Miller has delivered bottles of the bubbly beverage for one of Brooklyn's oldest seltzer shops.
Miller says seltzer is more than a drink, it's part of history. The Gomberg Seltzer Works factory in Canarsie has been making the beverage since 1953 and has outlasted every shop in Brooklyn. The factory takes great pride in making seltzer the old-fashioned way -- no salt, no artificial preservatives, just water and sparkling bubbles.
The company still delivers to homes and businesses in Brooklyn. One deliveryman says he started working with his father when he was just 6 years old. The owners of Gomberg say they plan to keep doing business for many years to come.
