A big backer of Spike Lee's newest film received a special visit from the director himself.
Details of Lee's latest project are being kept under wraps, but it was funded through the fundraising website Kickstarter.
Anthony Lolli, a local real estate mogul and major fan of Lee, is one of the movie's investors. In exchange for his donation, Lee dropped by his Bay Ridge home for a screening of his 1994 flick "Crooklyn."
The Kickstarter offered other rewards to its backers, including tickets to the world premiere of the film next month.
