School is back in session, and today was quite the party outside of P.S. 59 in Bed-Stuy as they welcomed the kids back into the classrooms.
This year, the school is welcoming kids from nearly two dozen families seeking asylum in New York City. To make sure they're good to go, the school created a room complete with washer/dryer, canned food and ways to help them succeed.
The New York Power Authority was also on site giving out bags full of school supplies.
