Public Advocate Jumaane Williams voiced his lack of confidence in schools reopening on Monday.
Williams spoke alongside parents, school staff and students about the frustrations students and teachers are already facing and prioritizing health and safety.
"This time we have a union that has done a vote of no confidence. This is the principals unions, and I believe we have seen previously the teachers also have no confidence in this administration.I as a public advocate have no confidence in this administration,” said Williams.
He says everyone needs to continue doing everything they can to push back on the plan that the mayor and schools chancellor has put in place.
