Police say they have identified the man accused of stealing geodes from outside the Rye Arts Center.

Officials said Kyle Folkes, of New Rochelle, tried to sell the rocks on Facebook Marketplace.

Detectives said they received a tip, arranged an undercover meeting and then arrested him. Police said the geodes are worth about $11,000.

No additional details about charges were immediately released.
