A Brooklyn-based sports company is helping keep soccer players stay safe while on the field.
Storelli Sports in DUMBO makes protective soccer gear to prevent all types of injuries, but most importantly, head injuries.
The company's headgear is a bestseller, especially after it was worn by English soccer star Wayne Rooney, of Manchester United.
Cladio Storelli started the business with friends four years ago, all of whom played soccer at the college level and were hurt at some point.
