Mild temps to close out week ahead of some weekend rain

Thursday will be the wettest day this week with scattered showers arriving by the late morning through Friday.

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says it feels like summer outside on Wednesday, but it will feel like March on Friday.
FORECAST: Partly cloudy and mild. Lows near 62.
TOMORROW: An improving forecast. Not a washout, but a few scattered showers are likely during the afternoon and evening. Storms remain south. Highs up to 69 at noon before the showers, then falling to the lower 60s. Lows down to 52. Showers return after midnight.
FRIDAY: "Disgusting." Trending toward a washout, with light to steady rain all day. Steadier rain is likely later. Temps hover near 50-53, feeling like the 40s with 20-25 mph gusts. Lows down to 49. Coldest day in a while.
SATURDAY: "Nicer" half of the weekend, but not too warm, and partly cloudy. Highs near 66. Lows near 53.
SUNDAY: Mother's Day likely sees a few showers, especially for the second half of the day. While it is not expected to be heavy, consider moving any outdoor plans inside. Highs near 65. Lows around 55.
EARLY NEXT WEEK: Another nice start to the workweek with sunshine and 70s. Lows in the mid 50s.
