News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says to expect downpours and thunderstorms in the afternoon on Sunday.
SUNDAY: Showers return after 10 a.m. with some downpours and thunderstorms after noon. Bands of windswept rain for the evening. Any embedded t-storm can contain 50 mph wind gusts. Otherwise, wind gusts of 30+ mph likely. Highs near 62. Rain tapers off around midnight. Lows down to 55. Still blustery with 30+ mph wind gusts.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy at first but becoming sunny by 9 a.m. Highs jump to 64. Still breezy with 20-30 mph gusts. Lows drop to 48.
TUESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy with an isolated shower or two during the afternoon and evening. Highs near 58. Lows down to 45.
WEDNESDAY: Another chance at an isolated shower or two during the day. Highs near 59. Lows around 46.
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy and a bit milder. Highs near 62. Lows around 49.
FRIDAY: Another chance at a few scattered showers. Highs near 62. Lows near 50.
