A man accused of biting a woman on the chest after attempting to rape her at a Brooklyn subway station has been arrested, police say.
Jaquan Whittle, 25, is facing attempted rape and assault charges in connection to the incident.
Police say the incident began Monday inside the Prospect Park station around 5 p.m.
Investigators say Whittle followed a 23-year-old woman into the subway station and slapped her behind as she entered the turnstile.
According to police, Whittle followed the victim onto a Q train and again as she got off at the 34th Street and Sixth Avenue station.
Officials say Whittle cornered the woman on an escalator where he attempted to grab her arms and then bit her chest before running away.
He was arrested at his Carrol Street home Tuesday night.
