String of gunpoint robberies throughout Brooklyn ends with police involved shooting
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with obstruction of governmental administration and criminal possession of stolen property.

Two people are in custody after a string of gunpoint robberies in Brooklyn lead to a police officer involved shooting.
The first incident was reported to police at 7:40 p.m. in front of 1624 E 15th St. on Tuesday.
A 24-year-old man was approached by two men who attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The victim fled and the thieves fled on foot eastbound towards E 15th Street and Avenue O.
Minutes later, a 23-year-old man was approached by the same two individuals in front of 1478 E 15th St. while inside his car.
The two men fled inside the stolen car.
At around 8:30 p.m., police tracked down the stolen car. The two men crashed the vehicle, and one was taken into custody. The second suspect fled on foot.
The second suspect then approached 54-year-old women who was standing in front of her car at 2060 Kimball St. He forcibly removed her car and fled into the stolen car.
Less than 10 minutes later, police spotted the stolen car and attempted to stop the car by blocking off the roadway.
The suspect drove onto the sidewalk in the direction of an officer. The officer then discharged his weapon at the car. The suspect continued to flee in the car until he crashed near Pennsylvania and Wortman avenues. Officers took the second suspect into custody.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with obstruction of governmental administration and criminal possession of stolen property. The second individual in custody is awaiting charges.
