Students from around the globe are using all of their computer skills to solve complex problems and win a scholarship.
NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering is hosting a cyber-security student contest where students have 48 hours to solve challenges and complex computer codes to advance in levels and complete the game.
Officials say the goal is to teach students how to protect sensitive data and learn how to solve computer bugs.
Experts write challenges based on what they are seeing in the industry right now.
More than 13,000 students are competing to win scholarships, but these students say bragging rights are pretty great too.
