Eleven students finished the Film Critic's Boot Camp hosted by nonprofits Kids First and Hispanic Information and Telecommunication Network.
The week-long boot camp teaches students of show business how to write film reviews and conduct interviews.
News 12 is told the training extends far beyond the world of show business.
"There are so many other careers that it prepares you for." I mean, just the experience of working on their language skills of writing," says Ranny Levy, of Kids First.
Some of the program's former students have gone on to the red carpet, interviewing actors like Bobby Moynihan and Mark Wahlberg.
