Hundreds of young people took to the streets to bring an end to gun violence.
Students at Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School say gun violence has no place in their community and that they are committed to doing whatever they can to make sure it doesn't happen.

The students left their school in Crown Heights and made their voices heard as they marched through the streets to Restoration Plaza in Bed-Stuy.
The annual walkout is an effort to raise awareness and discuss possible ways they can prevent gun violence.

This is the third year for the walkout and students tell News 12 they'll continue to do what they can to make sure their streets are safe.
