A group of musical performers announced a city settlement they received for their wrongful arrests in 2013 and 2014.
The violinists, guitarists and rappers say they were arrested for playing in the city's subway stations, even though they were following MTA rules of conduct.
The group says it received more than $54,000 in a settlement with the NYPD.
They say they made their announcement in the Williamsburg-Metropolitan Avenue station in Brooklyn as a way to spread their message about performers' rights.
