The final bell
has rung for the 2022-20
23 school year, and News 12 is
helping people
find some summer activities for your kids while they’re taking a break from the classroom.
The New York City Parks Department has an amazing list of
free activities for the hot weather months
, including the Kids In Motion program. Public pools will be
opening on Thursday, June 29
for the summer season and will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
With many students depending on school being in session for the free breakfast and lunch, the Free Summer Meals program also kicked off on Wednesday, where
anyone 18 and younger can go to a city-designated site and get fed.
