Students from around Brooklyn met up at P.S. 12 in Brownsville on Tuesday to build bridges to success.
The four-week program is part of the New York City Summer STEM program that focuses on science, technology, engineering and math.
Students who just completed second grade, seventh grade and 10th grade are taking the free STEM classes for a hands-on learning experience in designing bridges, energy transportation and computers.
They are also learning about different types of engineering. One of the projects they worked on involved the creation of a windmill.
The Brownsville school is one of 10 sites in the city taking part in the NYC Summer STEM Program.
